I recently used Finch Moving and Storage for my move, and I had a wonderful experience! The movers, John and Dima, were great—they arrived right on time and were incredibly efficient throughout the entire process. From the moment they started, it was clear that they knew what they were doing. They packed my belongings carefully and worked quickly to get everything loaded onto the truck. Their teamwork was impressive, and they made sure to handle all my items with care. Both John and Dima were friendly and professional, which made the experience even better. I appreciated their clear communication and willingness to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend Finch Moving and Storage. If you’re looking for a reliable moving company with excellent service, John and Dima are the team you want!

Avoid this company at all costs. My boyfriend hired them to move our 1-bedroom apartment, and our experience with Finch Moving was completely unacceptable, turning what should have been a simple move down the street into a frustrating nightmare.

To begin with, they mishandled our belongings so badly that my mirrored console, an $1,800 Italian Kara coffee table, and several smaller items were damaged. On top of that, they scraped and damaged the walls while moving furniture, leaving us with additional repairs to deal with. Their careless handling and lack of preparation were astonishing.

The move, originally estimated to take 6 hours, dragged on for 11 hours, creating unnecessary delays and stress. This inefficiency was entirely avoidable and reflected poor planning and execution.

To make matters worse, their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. Rather than addressing my concerns or taking responsibility, they offered nothing but excuses. Despite the damage to my property and home, they made no effort to reimburse or replace any of the items or repair the damage.

I’m thoroughly disappointed with Finch Moving and strongly advise against hiring them. I believe there are plenty of other moving companies that treat their customers, their belongings, and their homes with care – save yourself the frustration and choose one of them instead.

If I could give zero stars I would. PLEASE trust the negative reviews and go look on YELP as well. I made the mistake of only looking on google which seems to have an inflated number of positive reviews compared to the service you will get.

From beginning to end it was the worst move experience I have ever had and the customer service following was abysmal. They failed to resolve the issues or respond.

Here’s the cliff notes:
-I hired 3 movers and they showed up late and with only 2. They had no clue where the 3rd was and no one from the office communicated letting me know there wouldn’t be a 3rd until I called multiple times for clarity.

-The truck battery died and they were unable to get it started for over an hour. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for that hour but indeed was charged for it. They refused to rectify it or reimburse me.

-They broke a desk. When I told them to not bother trying fix it because it would take more time and cost me a lot more money. They didn’t listen and spent at least 45 minutes trying to fix it. It was not fix-able. They never reimbursed me for the desk.

-They “lost” my tv and my headboard. How do you “lose” those big items? They then went back to my old building and claimed they “found them” left in the elevator. The elevator had been unlocked hours prior by maintenance staff who confirmed- no headboard or TV was left in the elevator.

I have more I could list but PLEASE filter the negative reviews and trust them.
