Moved from ft liberty and this is the garbage company the military contracted. SO FAR an exploded Ajax bottle inside my bedsheets, all my bath towels were used to wrap all the glass containers off my coffee bar. I was on the phone until midnight Friday night discussing how all my shit was stuffed in boxes and piled on top of eachother, every mirror I own is cracked, every wooden shelving unit was placed as is in the truck and every single piece was cracked in half. MISSING PARTS ON MY HARLEY!!!!
We just moved from Fort Liberty to Fort Bliss and I wanted to give a review on a moving company in case anyone else uses them to keep an eye out. We had Day Transfer do our pack and move out and while they seemed nice we found out that to be false. We had items go completely missing, items stolen, items broken and offered payouts on broken stuff while packing so we wouldn’t report it. My husband had an item stolen that he’s had since childhood. The case was left behind but everything else is gone. Keep an eye out for them.
This was our 10th move over my husband’s military career (to include an overseas move) and by far the worst experience. Most of the packers/movers had pleasant attitudes; however, our driver had an “I don’t care attitude ” almost from the beginning. We have not unpacked our boxes yet, but I’m so scared to see what horrors of broken goods we’re going to find due to the poor handling. Would not recommend this moving company to anyone.
This was move #8 for us. From the packers to the loaders, I was absolutely happy!! We have done 2 overseas moves and have experienced very poor moves. This company went above and beyond my expectations and would highly recommend them to anyone. Easiest, most professional move!!!
This company handled the packing and moving side from our PCS to JBLM (Washington State). The woman who packed my kitchen area was wonderful and organized, however the others just tossed our stuff into boxes, mislabeled things, and even packed an alive plant, from a shelf, into a box with wall decor. That was a wonderful surprise to open when it arrived. The loaders were incredibly ugly to us. They left my sons’ electric scooter in the rain, and even packed some of our things into the sleeper of the truck, because they ran out of space and refused to send a second truck. Our bedding and other things arrived reeking of cigarette smoke. They did not label any hardware, and even packed some of it in Chick-fil-A bags- I guess they enjoyed the lunch we purchased them so much that they wanted to show their appreciation by reusing the bags. Our poor movers in Washington spent 13 hours attempting to put things together with unlabeled hardware. We also had quite a bit of hardware missing, to include the multiple pieces we found in our yard after the movers were finished “packing”. They damaged multiple pieces of furniture, as well as attempted to label things as damaged and soiled, when most were brand new furniture items. When asked about it, the driver became extremely aggressive and accused us of “refusing to sign paperwork.”
They dented both our washer and dryer, the set is only 10 months old, and also put a hole in our brand new couch. Hopefully the army never uses this company to move for them again, and certainly if you are a civilian and can pick whichever company you’d like, I’d encourage you to look elsewhere!
