I will start off by saying I have been debating for a month to leave this review, but continuing to walk by the damage that was left to both my house and my items continues to upset me each day. I understand moving can be stressful, but add in my mom passing out, being unresponsive, having to perform CPR and having a completely broken face 1.5 weeks before the moves adds on another level. We selected Bruno’s because he made it easy and ensured us a successful move..but what we got was anything less than that.
To start they were late, and sent 3 guys as promised, and I am not sure how to correctly say this but one was his father who suffered a heart attack weeks before our move, and while we was nice and great to talk to, he was unable to help with most parts of the move and felt like he didn’t assist but actually slowed down the progress. While you can say we had a lot of items, we never tried to hide that fact from you and when I asked if an inventory of our items was needed I was told they were not.
They were supposed to start at 10a, the first load was brought to our house around 5:30p. At this point we knew it was late in the day and my husband, myself and two friends did a lot of the unloading. When the fridge did not fit in our door, it was us that removed the doors both on the house and the fridge, and we did not have them assemble a single item in the new house. The second load got to our house around midnight, and this drop off nothing came in the house expect a few heavier items. But mostly everything was left on our patio. During the second run, my husband was getting texts from Bruno and he basically said they were done. It was not worth our fight, as we were already in a super stressful situation. The next day we had to rent our own 26 foot moving truck and finish our move, which a lot of items were left. While speaking to guys when unpacking the trucks I did ask them if this was a larger move or something unexpected due to the time it was taking. During the first drop off they told me another truck was already on their third trip of the day, things just did not seem right.
So onto the damage. At our new house, both couches have ripped leather, office desk has large deep scratches, cedar bed has large deep scratches, cedar chest has multiple large deep scratches, blinds have scratches, window frames has chunks of wood missing and our kitchen counter was messed up. I either watched this happen or in the case of the kitchen counter was told it happened. This is just some of the damage to our larger items that were pretty expensive. But again with the texts we were getting, and how late in the day this was, and having to worry about my mom, none of this was worth getting into.
When I arrived to our previous house the next day to help move the items left, my jaw hit the floor when I saw the amount of ceiling and wall damage that occurred there. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see the amount of damage at a place I loved for 19+ years.
While I understand I have not spoke out until now, I am still upset and angry with how this move happened. We picked Bruno because of how comforting he was leading into the move and also due to the amazing reviews, and our experience fell very short of this.
I hired Jay Bruno and crew to help clean out a 10×30 storage unit with the remnants of my late brother (the pack rat). They arrived on time and it was quite impressive how efficient and coordinated they were loading their truck. Polite, friendly and professional. Definitely well worth the money.
I’ve used a few moving companies in the past, and Bruno’s Niagara Movers absolutely exceeds any and all expectations! The movers were punctual, courteous, gentle with my items, and extremely efficient. I can’t forget to add affordable as well. The movers even insisted on protecting my carpets with moving pads, even though I assured them that I was not worried about any snow or dirt getting tracked in. They went the extra mile to ensure that my move was as easy for me as possible, and I would absolutely hire them again!
Joe, Andy and Zack Arrived on time and were very professional, polite and organized. They took good care of my client’s belongings and were very courteous when my client was directing them what to take. When we arrived to the new place, their teamwork was amazing and they put everything where my client asked them to. I recommend Joe and his team.
Professional, courteous, on time and ready to get it done. Bruno’s movers took the headache out of moving and did it quick, painless and for a great price. Fully recommend Bruno’s Niagara Movers for everything your move might need. Will absolutely use these guys again.
