These guys were phenomenal from start to finish. Friendly free estimate, no pressure with their follow-up call and they worked nonstop. Five guys showed up on moving day as promised and were well organized with how they tackled the move. You can tell they have honed their skills in working as a team and split up tasks. Watching their efficiency was amazing as they carried multiple boxes on their backs with straps up and downstairs during a heatwave and one was even SINGING while doing so! Such a great attitude! I expect some things to break in any move, it’s just the nature of a move, but only a couple of things were the tiniest bit banged up. They worked so hard and made my moving day easy. I hope to not need their services again for a very long time, but will call when I do and will recommend them to anyone needing movers. They are the best ever and I couldn’t have done this move without them! Thank you, Commander Moving!!!!

My wife and I recently sold our house in the Bay Area and bought a house in San Diego to be closer to our kids. We didn’t have any idea who to use as a moving company, but our realtor recommended Commander. It turned out to be a great recommendation. We had a fairly complicated need to move part of our possessions to one house and the rest to another house. The team at Commander brought two trucks to our house early in the morning on moving day, separated everything out as needed, and made the long drive from Northern California to Southern California the same day. Owner Karel and team leaders Mike and Frankie were friendly, fast, responsive, and super competent. Along with their guys, they were like the Seal Team Six of movers — they got in, got out, and got the job done with supreme efficiency. Believe me, both of those trucks were packed, and a lot of it was heavy stuff. Their rates were fair and reasonable. To cap it all off — and I see this as a mark of their honesty and trustworthiness — they ultimately charged us a little less than they had originally estimated. I highly, highly recommend Commander Moving.

First, Karel the owner came before the move to assess the items being moved (3 bedroom, 2 bathroom) and give me an estimate. He arrived on time and was very friendly and thorough. The estimate was very fair with a not to exceed amount, which worked very well within my budget. The day of the move, the movers arrived on time, and the weather was awful with rain and wind. They were very professional and did an amazing job. The weather did not hamper their ability to do their job with extreme efficiency. They kept their focus on the move, but were also very friendly with a sense of humor. Despite the weather, they were able to get all items moved in a timely manner, and I did not pay the not to exceed amount. I have moved many times over the past 12+ years, and this company by far exceeded my expectations compared to other movers I have used. I will definitely use them on my next move, but hoping there is not a next time. I will however refer them to anyone needing a competent, thorough, and honest moving company.
