I was in a bind and needed to get a couple very large pieces of furniture out of a house by 3pm. I had foolishly thought I could do it myself by disassembling them. When I realized the items didn’t come apart easily, I called Yak and Yeti for help. Lucky for me they had an opening and came right over to help mw out. They have a two hour minimum and the job took about 45 min to an hour. They were quick, efficient, careful, and professional. All the items they moved were carefully loaded into my truck (at my request) and wrapped in plastic to prevent damage while being moved. They were even very careful after the items were in MY truck to ensure there were pads in place where the hold down straps contacted the furniture so no damage would occur while I drove the items to their destination. This, to me, shows that they have a habit of loading things carefully and caring about the things they move. They really helped me out of a bind, and were great to work with. I highly recommend them!
We just used them to help move some items within our house as well as assembling a brand new loft bed from Macys that came in way too many pieces. Santos, Jorge and Manuel did such an incredible job and they were nothing but pleasant, respectful and timely! Definitely will use them again. Amazing work.

Santos, Manuel, and Jorge got my studio apartment moved across Oakland in 3 hours 45 minutes. Under 24 hours booking notice, on time arrival, $1184 + tip. ENORMOUS reduction in stress and energy for other tasks in my life. Successfully coordinated with apartment’s quiet hours.
They packed my dishes into boxes with paper padding, wheeled my dresser, sealed my mattress in plastic to prevent dirt, you name it. Very thorough and checked in to make sure they didn’t miss anything. 100% worth it. Took maybe half the box truck.
Santos, Manuel, and Jorge helped me move from 4 bed house to 2 bed apartment. It was a lot of work especially since the apartment is on third floor with no elevator!
We split the move into two days and they were excellent both times. Always with cheerful spirits and willing to help with anything I needed. And the company in general was great to deal with, took all my stress away. Totally recommend.
Yak and Yeti did a great job! We had a 500 bottle wine fridge that we had to move from one end of the house to another. It was super hard to even find a company to do the move, and Y&Y had the lowest hourly minimum (2hrs; it was a 30 min job). The crew was super professional and respectful and managed a few difficult turns well. Will use them again when it’s time to do a bigger move!
