Unfortunately I can’t give more than 1 star. The person that packed the kitchen was totally useless and forgot two full cabinets of dishes to pack. He was on the phone constantly discussing problems with wife/ girlfriend. Jessie quoted us a per hour price which is standard for in town moves. He told us that the final price should only differ by a few dollars more or less. Well the final price was $1400 more than quoted. I agreed to $500 which was still not acceptable. They broke a 60” tv. Robin told me that they would refund us for the cost of a new one. We’ll see. One positive was the packer that packed the content of a large cabinet. Excellent work done. They also did not care to reassemble another cabinet they had taken apart. And boxes were in wrong rooms even thought clearly labeled. So, even thought nothing was broken, not a good experience. Better look for a different company.
We had a somewhat complicated local move — sold a large house as we were just starting to build a new house (living in temporary quarters in the meantime). I wasn’t quite sure how all that was going to work — but Truckin’ Movers made it so easy and pleasant. Everything was picked up and put into containers that were then safely stored for over a year in their climate controlled facilities before arriving and getting unloaded at our new home. One wishes everything could go that smoothly — from Jeff coordinating it all to the moving crews that handled everything with great care and professionalism.
A really great outfit. They were super detail oriented when planning and the moving team was excellent. Wrapped everything. Very attentive and careful. They worked quickly and carefully. I’m so grateful and impressed!! Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone
Truckin Movers moved us from Cary to the NC mountains. They were incredibly careful and efficient When they delivered to the mountain house the driveway was too steep for the truck so they had to hand carry everything down to the house. In spite of this difficulty Terry, Chris, and Johntez remained very cheerful. I would definitely recommend them for any move
This review is for a residential move within the same city. Beginning with the in-person estimate visit, Jeff was very easy to talk to and very professional. He went into detail about all items to be packed and provided a detailed quote following the visit.
I was initially a bit disappointed on move day since there were less crew members than originally planned, but I am very grateful that Jeff and others at the office jumped in right away to make it right. I ended up having an extra crew member so that the overall move happened within the estimated timeframe (it ended up being a little less time than originally anticipated).
From the beginning of the day till the end of the move, the crew worked diligently and carefully. None of our belongings were damaged. The crew was very respectful at all times. I would definitely recommend and use Truckin’ Movers again.
