I recently hired Swift Movers for my cross-country move, and I was very disappointed with the experience. A two-man crew spent about four hours packing my belongings, but the quality of their work was far below my expectations.
Firstly, they used minimal packing materials, which left many items inadequately protected. For instance, a $300 coin set I crafted in a custom mahogany frame—a tribute to my late mother—was carelessly thrown into a box with expensive controllers. Another box was half empty, containing just a single speaker. My monitors were wrapped in cardboard but taped directly to the screens, which is not safe for transport in a semi-truck.
I also encountered issues with items they refused to pack, such as framed pictures and canvas art, citing that “they never pack these.” Since I had the proper packing materials, I was surprised by this decision. I called the company to express my concerns, and while I was told they are human and would see what could be done, I have yet to hear back after sending photos of the packing situation. Many other items were left unpacked and they refused when I asked.
Regarding refreshments, I told the crew to ask me if they needed anything. Instead, they took a sparkling water from my supply, apparently didn’t care for it, and hid it in the garage. Later, they asked for regular water, which I happily gave them.
For $700 worth of packing, I expected much better service and care for my belongings. I cannot recommend Swift Movers, as it clearly won’t meet the needs for a safe and secure move.
These folks didn’t want to be here. This is my stuff. My life. They just don’t care.
AFTER RESPONSE: He called to ask if there was anything they could do to take down my review. I said no. Asked about possible refund. I said no. So now you know why it’s 4.7*. Don’t hire good people, bribe people who share honesty. I have not moved yet. Another box opened today had 2 bottles of open rubbing alcohol just tossed in, upside down. He couldn’t call last week, but was able to call within minutes of a bad review 9:30 PM. These folks are crooks. ZERO accountability. Own that you did horribly.
Mike and Alex did a great job. On time, quality packing, care of our furniture and good price. Booking and administration with Justin was simple and swift. Returning customer, and will do again soon.
We had the best experience with Swift Movers. They sent two great guys – Scott and Alex – to load a pod for us. They so carefully wrapped our belongings before loading them. Yet, they got the job done very quickly for what they had to do. They had to take down a giant adjustable double king bed for us, and because they finished much sooner than expected, we asked them to take down a queen bed with big headboard and footboard and move it to another room. They quickly and professionally did that, too. I think if I had asked them to cook dinner for us, they would have done that, too. Theu were wonderful!
Talking with Jeremy was very pleasant, too. You just couldn’t go wrong with these guys.
Best moving company in Florida! Have used this company multiple times, most recently to help my mother in law move into a new apartment. The team of Kenny, Edgar, and Hunter were amazing and extremely efficient in getting the job done. We will continue to utilize Swift Moves and recommend them to anyone who needs movers. They truly get the job done!
Swift Moves certainly lived up to their business name. I was looking to schedule my move and they pleasantly surprised me with the capability to meet my request! The men that represented the company (Cedric and Marquel) made my move easy . They arrived on time, friendly and right to work! They completed the job in record
