This was my first time using OWMs and they exceeded my expectations! Aaron and Will provided great customer service when setting up the move. Good price and really appreciated the communication. Charles and Zechariah arrived on time and ready to work. They wrapped all my furniture and handled with care. Thank you guys for your kindness and hard work! I feel embarrassed to have to write this type of review for a moving company that clearly needs employees who are patient and careful in their actions.
I encountered an issue with one of their drivers from truck number 30. We were at an intersection with two lanes to turn left, and it was clear the driver didn’t notice this. I didn’t pay much attention to the truck, so I made the left turn and continued on with my day. However, when I reached the next light, the driver decided to park in front of my van and come to a complete stop. I had no idea what was happening until I realized it was the same truck from the intersection.
I drove around the truck to take a photo of this driver’s reckless behavior. I then left a voicemail for the company requesting that the manager contact me about the situation. He did, and I truly appreciate that. He assured me that he would handle the matter, which I hope is true. As I mentioned to him, it’s embarrassing that employees who clearly don’t understand basic driving rules are working for this company.
I have dashcam footage proving I did nothing wrong, and that the driver’s reaction was completely unwarranted. This was an embarrassing incident, and it reflects poorly on the company.
The personnel at Olde World Movers, from the move coordinator to the packing/loading crew were very responsive, friendly and professional. All gave me a sense of comfort with scheduling and the actual process, right down to removal of empty packing boxes and materials.
I am very pleased with all aspects of the move process and would recommend Olde World Movers for local or, as in my case, interstate move, without reservation.
Q, Kim and Dean helped us move from FTW to Austin. They were very professional and efficient. Extremely prepared and experienced. We did a full pack and move over 2 days. They were also willing to move our house plants which grew so much that they are not able to fit in our cars no more. They worked very quickly. My wife and I enjoyed our time with them. Will recommend them to anyone who needs to move.
Just moved apartments today with Kim and Floyd. They were awesome! Super professional, really nice guys, got everything moved super efficiently, and ensured it was all protected. My entire move took less than 3 hours. Booking was easy and service was super friendly. Would definitely recommend!
