This was a wonderfully stress-free moving experience. I needed to move four pieces of furniture, including a piano, from a storage unit in Thomasville, NC to a house in Richmond, VA. Lawrence Moving gave me a very affordable quote. Prior to moving day I got several telephone calls confirming the pickup time. On pickup day, the movers arrived within seven minutes of the specified time. They carefully unearthed our items from deep inside our loaded storage unit, wrapped them well, and loaded them into the truck with care and respect. On delivery day, the crew arrived within eight minutes of specified delivery time and brought the items in with care. Communication was excellent throughout, and the move was handled with the utmost care. I would highly recommend Lawrence Moving. I already have suggested them to one person I know.

Our move was extremely easy and hassle free thanks to Marina’s coordination and frequent and uptodate information.
However there are few things I wanted to bring to the attention for future.
Although estimator did great job in estimating our household items, we felt that our entire household items were crammed in 2 small crates instead of using big truck or using 3rd container.
This was the reason I think for many damages to our furniture and packers not willing to accommodate few last minute items that were left in the apartment at origin. They tried their best to include as much as they can but they just couldn’t fit anymore items at the end.
But overall, employees of all the companies were great professionals and very polite in responding to our concerns.
