From the start, Glass City movers proved to be a cut above. Nicole supplied me with invaluable information about the move and cautioned me about brokers. I didn’t ask if it was a family business, but that’s what it felt like because everyone was in sync. The move was plan, quoted and executed with precision. I was given an affordable estimate and an approximate time & date for the pick up and delivery. Even Delmard, the driver was A-1.He called me enroute to the previously scheduled pickup almost 2 hours in advance. Picked all items and called to make sure there wasn’t anything to be picked up that was left off. All of my moving items were wrapped and secured for the move. I received my items in great condition, just like they were sent. Nothing was damaged or broken, including an extremely heavy tri-oval mirror. You can’t go wrong putting Glass City movers in charge of your move. I’m extremely satisfied with the job they did for me.
Delmar and the rest of his team were fantastic. Courteous, quick, and friendly. Both at pickup and delivery. Delivered our furniture at the exact requested time. Everything was in order and the same condition when it left our home. Pricing was best out of 5 movers I called for a Cleveland to Boston move. I would highly recommend Glass City Movers and request Delmar if you can…… he was the best! 10/10!
Used Glass City Movers to move from NC to MI and both crews were very professional and friendly. They were excellent at communicating and they really know their stuff! Everything was protected and moved carefully and they were very accommodating when some items at the drop off needed to be moved. Delmar and Kieth were my crew for drop off and they were amazing! Definitely top tier service and expertise!
I had the most traumatic experiences with my move with glass city move, and I had moved 6 times before so i’m pretty familiar with the process, the two guys arrived, they were super slow, it took forever to load the truck, then when we were about to go, they said the battery was dead !!! luckily this didn’t take long, when we arrived at the new place, one of the guys seemed struggling, he was shaking, face flushed, breathing fast, and when I asked it turned out he was feeling dizzy and he feels he is about to pass out, I urged him to call his boss so he can send someone else, after many attempts he said he spoke with his boss and his boss told him to power through, he kept saying he is ok.. and the torture continued, I even offered him to leave and bring someone else next day, finally they finished after long 11 hours!!! plus the drive from their station, that’s is 12 hours while the agreement was 4 hours.I can understand if if it took another 2-3 hours extra, but this was exceptionally slow… not to mention the horror I felt if something will happen to the sick guy!!! worst experience unfortunately…
Delmar and Jamie were wonderful! I moved from Chicago to Philadelphia and I am a single mom. They were totally respectful and amazingly helpful. I would definitely use them again. I wish all movers were as kind and helpful as Delmar and Jamie.
