I absolutely 100% recommend Congressional Piano Movers to anyone that has to move their piano. They moved my Yamaha C5 grand piano into my new apartment last month, helping me to accomplish a dream many years in the making. They took great care of my instrument, knew exactly how to handle it in and out of tight spaces (like the freight elevator) and put me at ease with their knowledge and expertise. Thank you for your work – I appreciate all that you do!
These guys were awesome. We just recently moved to the DC area and our grand piano didn’t fit in our front room. We replaced it with an upright, and they came in, took away the grand piano, replaced it with the upright so quickly I don’t think they were here for more than 10 minutes and they were so thoughtful, kind, and very hard workers would absolutely recommend them, and use them again!
Booked appointment three weeks in advance to have upright piano moved from main floor of home to basement. Was given price and service window at booking. Took day off work for the appointment.Called to confirm near end of service window, was told that “truck broke” and they might have to cancel the service. I explained it was a move of the piano within the same residence, so no truck was needed. Was told they would check with the driver and call me back. Received no callback, and when I tried to call to follow up, no one answered the phone remainder of the day. Suffice to say I will find a new company and never use congressional piano movers.
Five stars! We loved their reliability, prompt and exact communication, and work ethic. Even in muddy conditions they were able to get the baby grand piano into our living room with no issues. Thank you!!! I recommend them without hesitation and would use them again immediately.
