Absolutely disappointing. This was posted in Columbus instead of Nashville.
Schedule easy BUT if you don’t buy the insurance you are insured at 60 cents per pound–Yes a $1000 painting is insured for $1.80! more on that later
ARRIVAL-late by 45 min
CARE OF THE HOME–I was told they would wrap items to keep them from damaging walls and floors–no damaged floor walls ceiling and railing.
CARE OF THE DELIVERY HOME—I had seen the original fiasco so I asked them to be more careful. The result black dirt on white rugs-no shoe coverings and corners chipped.
Stolen item-patio umbrella was viewed on security cameras being loaded and was never unloaded on the second security cameras. Vehemently told me I had received it–Video replay confirmed they were wrong.
RESPONSIVENESS–very poor no answer to repeated calls and emails.
I would never use them again. Good luck.
The best part of the service we received is how responsive they were when we called and needed a family members things moved out asap. We called with photos of what needed to be moved. Within an hour, black tie called us back with an estimate. To be safe we called another moving company. Black tie moving had the best price and was the only company that could move our loved ones’ things the very next day.
Scott and Cooper were our movers. They arrived within ten minutes of their estimated arrival time. When they arrived at the delivery home they were so great at helping us rearrange things to accommodate the things they were moving in to my home. They moved things from upstairs to downstairs and did just anything we asked of them.
They also boxed the items we hadn’t packed before they arrived.

This was the first professional moving company we’ve ever used, and we were totally impressed and satisfied. From the scheduling process to the lead-up to the big day, communication was great via texts and emails. Everything happened according to schedule and the movers were so efficient that we were done several hours ahead of schedule and our final invoice was well below the original estimate. Our three movers were very polite and careful and communicated each step of the way. We highly recommend Black Tie Moving!
