Miguel and Plinio were absolutely amazing. They moved our 2 bedroom unit so fast and were very careful with our furniture. They made our move very easy. I was very stressed about moving but they honestly did everything and worked super fast. Thank you so much. Highly recommend asking for them two.
We used Best Fit Movers and we couldn’t have been more pleased with their service. From start to finish, they made our move a breeze. Our movers Matt and Carlos were amazing! They handled everything with the best of care and worked quick. If we ever have to move again, which I hope we don’t, we will definitely use Best Fit Movers again and request Matt and Carlos to do the move.
TLDR: said my tip wasn’t enough, got Starbucks on our time, made me sign a paper saying there’s no damage when there was in fact damage and he wouldn’t leave until I signed it. Took 6 hours for a 2 bedroom apartment move, and we didn’t even have any furniture.
I called and booked movers, and when booking I specifically requested for Spanish speaking movers. This is a very important request and the man on the phone assured me that they would be Spanish speaking. The men that arrived were Russian, and this is the first problem. Eugene was horrible. He was so slow. This was a 2 bedroom apartment without any furniture and they took 6 hours. On top of that I was charged $52 for plastic wrap when this is a standard in the industry to be included. Eugene was wasting so much time standing and talking. And at the end of the whole situation, when it was time to pay, he immediately said he wanted a tip. I said yeah of course, and then he went on a rant to say he did a good job and my storage unit was very messy and he organized it for me and he deserves a tip. And then when I gave him $50, he said this is not enough and he worked for 6 hours not 1 hour. Very rude. While he was driving he went to get Starbucks and we were supposed to meet him there but i saw him at Starbucks 15 minutes later as I was heading to the second location. They charge 2x for drive time and he went to get Starbucks. Overall im very upset and this is why I asked for Spanish speakers, they are trustworthy unlike Russians. I paid this trash job 766 instead of 357 that I was quoted. And he damaged my walls that I caught on camera when he was walking out with a long piece of wood, he turned weird and the wood damaged the wall / door. He also forced me to sign the liability waiver at the end saying there was no damage and I told him there was damage and he said I still had to sign it and there was no option not to sign it. He wouldn’t leave until I signed it.
Avoid this company at all costs!!!!
First of all let me start by saying there are many different movers/units contracted by this company so my review is solely based off the experience I had with the workers I was assigned.
I had two Russian men who assisted me with the move. One of them was hard at work while the other was sitting on his phone taking breaks non stop and completely lagging on the work. I was doing his job more than him.
Another issue I had was that they charge for the distance of which you’re moving, anything below 15 minutes of a drive is $50 while anything over is considered a “double drive”. The drive between my old place and new one was 12 minutes. I took 13 minutes to get there with traffic while the workers/movers took 16 minutes and still upcharged me the “double drive” cost even with me complaining heavily. Also for reference, my roomate used the same company and his drivers took 14 minutes to get to the new spot and only charged him the base fee. In total these movers charged me $750 while my Roomates total cost was only $380 and we have a similar amount of items that needed to be moved, my movers were just slow and lazy and very unfocused.
To make matters worse, at the end of the move the workers made sure to not let me leave my own review and did this themselves!!! Do not be fooled by the amount of false good reviews this place has – it is a complete scam and a very illegally populated review rating they have given themselves.
If you do go with this company avoid the two Russian men at ALL COSTS – unless you want to be charged for double to triple what you should be paying.
Eugene and Dmitrii were the best! Super quick and efficient. Made the whole process for moving enjoyable. They took everything apart and put it back together. Made sure everything was set up before leaving. Highly recommend these two if you book this moving company!
