This company was great from start to finish. The girl in the office was so sweet and friendly. Great communication. The guys did great. They are decently priced; cheaper than some others in the area. Zero complaints!
No call, no show for a moving appointment they had already rescheduled once. They left us hanging for over five hours on a Sunday afternoon without responding to multiple calls which completely threw off our moving timeline. They finally returned my call around 11 am on Monday, and that was after I left another voicemail and attempted to call multiple times. I was given an excuse that the girl who normally answers the phone had an emergency come up, but I find it strange that no one on the moving team contacted me or showed up given we had already scheduled the service. The woman I spoke to, Kaci, tried to make it up to us by offering a discount (a whopping $60) to get to me on Tuesday. My wife and I decided to take our business elsewhere and not risk another disappointment or damage to our belongings. It was incredibly inconvenient to take additional time off work to make up for All of Texas Moving’s mistake and lack of professionalism, and disappointing to not move into the home we just bought when we expected to. I would not recommend their services.
This company claimed to be professional movers and could not pack my moving truck properly which resulted in me having to rent a uhaul trailer and causing my wife to have to drive her vehicle. This cost me more money for fuel and more money for the trailer. When I called them about it they said they would refund me the money for the trailer. That was over a month ago. I also had items damaged because of the poor packing job on the truck. I bought 30 tie down straps on top of the 20 I already had and they used about 8. If it wasn’t for a friend catching stuff I would have been taken out by the items at the back of the truck because they were not secured.
Whenever I called no one answers and when I leave a message no one calls back.
Update: Still no one will return my call and they still have not sent the refund check that they agreed to do via BBB and the phone call I made in the beginning.
All of Texas moving don’t comment on my review and not live up to your end.
I have used these folks three times in 2 years to move me. The first two times it was the same guys who came out and everything was phenomenal. From the communication, to the actual moving, their professionalism, everything. Which is why I immediately called them to move me this last time. However, I don’t think I’ll be using them again in the future. I called on Tuesday mid afternoon to schedule for the following Saturday. They told me no problem and got it set up for 12:30, Saturday afternoon on the 30th. I tell her I want to move by the hour. She tells me they have a two hour minimum I tell her that’s fine, I also have a couch I need moved into the new house from the old house. She says ok, notes it, and tells me it’ll be $300. Well I had taken a break to eat lunch on Friday and I get a call from one of the movers telling me he’s at my gate to move me. I explained that they were supposed to be there the following day and called the office to make sure they were still coming tomorrow. She said she got her wires crossed and apologized and assured me they’d be there at 12:30 the next day. Around 11:30 on Saturday, one of the movers calls me again and says the client they’re currently with has more stuff than they thought so they’re going to be about 30 minutes late. No problem, that buys me more time to make sure everything is good to go. 1pm comes and goes and around 1:30 I send a text to check on the status because I haven’t heard anything. He tells me they’re waiting on this client to pay. 2 pm comes and goes and then so does 2:30. I text again for an update because I haven’t heard anything.he’s telling me they have to follow this lady to a gas station to get a money order for her to pay. I tell them that I’m not too concerned about it because they’re always really good. They finally got to my house at 3pm, 2 1/2 hours late. They were pretty good and fast but I also had everything already in one room for them. They drop off the couch, we go to my storage unit. By this time it’s 4:30. They tell me there’s a $50 extra stop fee that no one told me about and even though it took them an hour and a half, there’s still a two hour minimum. When she called to get payment, I sort of let her know I was pretty annoyed. She apologized and said that she knows it’s annoying but it’s not their fault they were late. It’s not my fault either. Then when the movers were leaving, they wound up hitting the gate of my storage facility. They got out and looked, and then left. The owner of the facility text me about this but saw me leave ahead of them so he didn’t blame me. He said he was going to call the company to discuss. So the fact that they were 2 1/2 hours late and tacked on a $50 fee that I didn’t know about ahead of time, hit the gate, and all of the other things, I don’t know that I’m willing to use them again.
Update as of 12/16/24. I called them last week in response to their request to make it right and no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail stating my name, what I was calling about, and my number and no one called back. Unless or until they make some portion of this right, I will continue to leave this review up. What’s really sad is the owner of my storage facility asked if I would recommend them to partner with so he would recommend them and they him, etc. I told him that prior to this experience I would have said yes but not after this time.
Pac k Ed us out in 3 hours, done really professionally, then the delivery after 6 weeks storage. Received a phone call from the manager/owner Kaci stating the unit where our property was stored had been broken into and ALL my televisions had been stolen. But not to worry we*All of Texas moving) would gladly replace them out of our pockets and deliver them to you.
Our property was delivered to our home at 8 p.m. that nite and movers left at around 1 a.m. next day.
I have an antique phonograph which I had restored, well, it is damaged beyond repair, antique cuck coo clocks missing parts, ALL of my tools are missing which included tools that I gained from my Grand father which can’t be replaced, of course all televisions, several items that my wife had were missing, broken, damaged beyond repair.
Am not pleased with their delivery of our property. After numerous phone calls and emails/texts to Kaci, our phones have been blocked, I no longer receive texts or emails from ALL of Texas Moving.
Reconsider your choice on moving companies when thinking about ALL of Texas Moving.
