I was not satisfied. Arguably, I probably had more things to move than what I said on my form, but overall I thought the move would be a quicker especially since I moved into a studio. What was frustrating was that as one mover would work on a time consuming task (i.g. wrapping the couch, or adjusting the items in the truck), and the other would be waiting and would sometimes be on his phone. Altogether there was a little bit of a lack of urgency, which racked up my bill much farther than what I hoped for. Also, one of my items were damaged in the move, but of course I didn’t noticed until after all was said and done. And I still tipped them since that’s the polite thing to do, but now that time has passed and I look back on it, I was not happy. Total payment was over $1K
Michael and Corean helped me with my move and did all the heavy lifting and complicated disassembly and reassembly. They were on time and efficient and I appreciated their help and professionalism.
Mateo, Henry and Eric were an excellent team! They were very easy to communicate with from the beginning. We had to schedule a move in less than a week’s notice and they made it stress free and possible. From requesting the quote to payment, everything was super easy. They were punctual, efficient and effective during the move. They treated everything with care and helped set up the furniture the way I wanted so I wouldn’t scratch the floors if I were to do it myself. I would highly recommend them for their quality service and reasonable prices. If needed in the future, I would definitely use them again for my next move.
I couldn’t recommend Affordable City Movers enough! They were very responsive, arrived early, and were done moving all of our stuff and very promptly considering how much stuff we had. They were very flexible and go with the flow, as we had to make last minute changes due to family emergency. The movers were in constant contact with us,” and they handled all fragile boxes, equipment etc with tremendous care. We will absolutely be using this moving company again for our next move!!
They were so courteous and quick! Both of my movers took great care with all of my items and moved all of my furniture in two hours. They were very affordable too! I got quotes from several moving companies and this was the most affordable and reliable. Kolin was my lead mover and he was very helpful and took great care of all of my items
