Anthony and his team were awesome! They worked very efficiently, professionally, and were also friendly! We had a ton of stuff and filled their entire truck. We even lived on a second story and had some pretty heavy items and they made the whole thing look easy! That’s how professional they are at this. They also provided wardrobe boxes for all of our clothes and had all moving materials readily available. This was by far the smoothest and quickest move I’ve ever had (coming from a girl who has moved b/w 10-20 times in her entire life). I would highly recommend this company and team to anyone! Having hired many professional moving companies over the years, this was the MOST AMAZING and SEAMLESS experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I did a cross-country move from CA to NC, and we’re so glad we chose AFD movers.

We were quite nervous about coordinating the timing of everything and finding a reputable moving company that wouldn’t lose or damage our stuff in transit. After a few phone inquiries with several different companies, this one stood out to us because of their extremely straightforward pricing and process. They gave us a competitive flat rate quote for interstate moving, and it was all-inclusive, meaning they handle disassembling and re-assembling furniture, furniture fortification (to protect against damage), and provide wardrobe boxes. Unlike other moving companies, I really appreciated that they didn’t pressure us to sign. I only got one follow-up call from Russell, and he was extremely helpful and patient, taking his time to answer every question we had regarding liability, services included, delivery times, etc. What blew us away was just how punctual, efficient, and hardworking the actual movers are. Dos, and one other mover, got straight to business. They first inspected our 1 bedroom apartment space to assess how much stuff we had, and then they got to work! We loved that we never had to tell them what to do or how to do it; they just took initiative with taping up all the boxes, disassembling furniture, shrink wrapping all fragile items, and even packing all the screws/parts that go with each item. Not a single item was damaged or missing. The best part was that after they unloaded all the boxes, they re-assembled all our major furniture, which made getting settled in a breeze. What we signed to pay was exactly the same from beginning to end — no hidden charges, no surprise bills.

One area I wish they did better on was communication for such a big cross-country move. It would be cool if they provided status updates, because we didn’t find out about the slight delay (due to rainstorms) until the morning of, and by then, we had already checked out of our Airbnb, so we had to do a last-minute run to Target to get an air mattress for our new apartment, which wasn’t ideal, but we made it work. Delays do happen, but I think that would be very helpful in terms of keeping the customer up to speed on where their items are. Other than that, AFD movers truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend if you want to have peace of mind and let them take care of the stresses of moving.

My moving crew yesterday was Anthony, Paul and Tom. They moved my belongings from Orange to Yorba Linda in about 6 1/2 hours. They were quick and efficient and all my belongings arrived at its destination in tact and unbroken. These guys had a system down and knew what they were doing. Very professional and organized. Highly recommend this crew from AFD Movers. Their moving costs were reasonable.
