This visit was amazing. The staff could not have been more professional. We were leaving for Ohio. They got us a trailer and we were off in less than an hour. The best U-haul facility in the area.
The Team here was very polite, friendly and great to work with. The parking is very limited and tight but they coordinated the situation very well. I would use them again.
The experience we had at this U-Haul was better than any other, even better than the great experiences we’ve had in the past at other locations and other companies.
We chose this location after searching online because their selection of equipment to rent that would meet our needs was the best around.
We were pleasantly surprised to also get excellent service. The employees who helped us treated us exactly how we would treat customers if we owned the store. They listened to our needs and did not try to upsell. They were helpful without being condescending or pushy. They answered questions without giving two little or too much information. They were friendly and personable, engaging in brief friendly conversation after we initiated it. We felt as if they were interested in us getting what we need and feeling understood, comfortable and respected. It felt like their loyalty was to us, rather than to a profit greedy corporation. That makes us want to be loyal customers. They seemed happy, and that was infectious.
We own a trucking company and understand that the inside of the cab may not be detailed after every use, but it was clean enough to be comfortable. The box was perfectly clean. There was a check -engine light that came on while we were driving that we forgot to mention when we returned the truck. (Sorry!) So, if you are expecting brand new and impeccably clean equipment, renting used moving and storage equipment from ANYWHERE is not for you.
During our 2 visits, renting and returning, they were busy but expedient, professional, attentive and kind. I highly recommend them and will be a return customer.
Edit: Just looked at the other reviews here. I feel like I just repeated what so many others have said about the fantastic service. I can imagine this location gets much busier than when my husband and I were here (Sunday early afternoon). I’ve had long waits at other UHaul locations, and I know enough to build in extra time because equipment isn’t always returned on time or in working order by other customers. Please know this about the industry. Moving companies with control over their own equipment are the only way to be 100% sure you can move something at an exact time. My husband and I own a trucking company, but we only work with businesses and move goods. We are not a moving company, so we’re not biased here, just realistic about expectations with rentals.
As soon as I walked in I was welcomed; they were crazy busy, but it felt good to be acknowledged. Super glad I had made an online reservation, as they were completely booked for the weekend.
Anderson helped me check in & was very kind, helpful and personal. I rented a tow behind trailer & Jeff was quick to help connect, check safety /lights and send me on my way with a smile, kind words & a wave! Very confident giving 5 stars, they absolutely exceeded my expectations.
Moyce was the nicest person to deal with..and the other young man that was working with him on 10/17/21..equally as helpful and both very professional. Thanks guys! I hope these two are paid well because they are what good customer service is all about
