Precision Moving did a great job moving me from one part of Dorchester to another in a short amount of time. The office was very helpful in working out details of the move, including a last-minute change in moving date.
The movers were professional and worked like a team. They were friendly and thorough. They were very handy at removing a window to make the distance to the moving truck a lot shorter than using the main door and negotiating stairs. And the cost was very reasonable.
Edited Review – The owner reached out and provided a partial refund for the damage to my furniture and assured me this is not how the movers are trained. I very much appreciated his outreach and would use the company again due to the outstanding customer service and reassurance that my move was not up to the owner’s standards.
Original review – While on time and polite, the movers didn’t use any blankets or protection (which I’ve never seen before) for my furniture and caused scratches and dents to several items that were previously in perfect condition. They snapped a branch off a plant, and most frustrating, put tape directly on a wooden trunk to keep it shut, which ruined it. It’s frustrating to see the damage every day, especially given the great reviews.
We’ve used Precision for every major move and they have been exceptional… up until this past move on 6/27.
One employee in particular had no remorse for scuffing up our RH couch. Another couch was stained. Zero care for our wooden floors as I remember previous movers had used blue packing mats for protection. Boxes were just dropped to the floor. I also noticed a loose screw when putting my child’s crib back together that had to be tightened. Daybed installed incorrectly. It was honestly just bizarre because we’ve always had excellent service…!
We have used Precision Moving twice and highly recommend them. PJ and his team are fantastic. First move was from a 4th floor walk up and they did it super efficiently but were also extremely care with our items. They never complained about it, like other companies have, which we appreciated.. Second move was twice the size and same amazing experience. They showed up at the designated time, were extremely professional and just a great team to work with.
These movers moved so quickly and efficiently, doing the work in half of the estimated time, at a very reasonable rate. The movers were kind, knowledgeable and knew exactly what they were doing. I would fully recommend them and would use them again.
