Best Friday the 13th I can remember. I had 2 very large cabinets delivered but didn’t know I needed to pay for “white glove” delivery to get them in my home. I called Fair Rate for their availability. What looked like 1 day before they could send crew, which I accepted, the owner himself called me back, came over in 30 minutes and we moved the cabinets in. My wife will be so pleased to know the cabinets aren’t spending the night in the garage on Friday the 13th!
WOW! That’s what I have to say about Fair Rate Movers. They were fast and work so efficiently together. Not one single items was damaged and not a single wall nicked. They were so careful with everything they packed, moved and unpacked. If I ever need to move again I will definitely be using Fair Rate Movers. Thank you for doing the best job ever!

I had to do a surprise forced move from one storage facility to another (Florida DOT took the original facility by eminent domain for a highway project). I had to manage it remotely because I live in Massachusetts, so I needed a local mover I could trust to handle the logistics in my absence.
During my first phone call to Fair Rate Movers, manager Ryan Long “adopted” my huge project – three 10×20 chaotic storage units full of furniture, boxes, and bins – and a boat. A fourth climate-controlled unit, with a piano and a grandfather clock, required an extra unloading stop at a different storage facility. Ryan assured me I had nothing to worry about, they would handle everything – all of which turned out to be true.
Ryan was helpful and cheerful all the way, in the days before the move and on moving day itself, taking my repeated calls for photo requests and “one more thing.” Plus repairing broken-down boxes so they would re-stack properly in the new facility. His team consolidated the three 10×20 units into three smaller units, saving me a significant amount on my monthly storage bill.
But wait … there’s more … There was an item among all the stored stuff that I really wanted to rescue and send to me here in Massachusetts. Dare I ask? I did, and the answer was YES, he would do that (at my shipping expense, of course). That item is now on its way to me in a big UPS box.
Even if you’re not doing a storage-to-storage move like I did, their worry-busting “we got this” attitude, backed by action, thinking, and a team of experienced and fearless workers, will translate to the challenges and anxiety of any moving adventure.
A+. Excellent experience with Fair Rate Movers. We had a mattress that we could not get up the stairs. They came out on short notice, offered a special rate, and were very efficient. Good communication. Good price. Professional all around and the owner is very nice. Would absolutely use their services again and recommend them.
