Never ever use these movers. The owner Gary could care less about the customers. The Sales man Jack will yell at you like your his child. They give low balls estimates so they can get double and triple yor charge later. I have provided pictures of what they consider ready to load for tomorrow trip. Don’t believe the good review believe the photos. These people are horrible I had to hire new movers to fix this horrible job.
I had the absolute worst experience with Brothers EZ Moving back in July. From start to finish, it was a nightmare. They were incredibly negligent with my belongings, throwing boxes marked as fragile into the truck as if they didn’t care at all. Despite clear instructions, they loaded items into the truck that were fragile and supposed to be left out.
To make matters worse, they completely ruined my white couch, leaving black stains all over it. They also broke my boyfriend’s $400 computer monitor, and when I unpacked my dishes, several glass items were shattered. The lack of care and professionalism was astounding.
On top of the damage, the company was deceptive with their pricing. They gave me a quote for two movers, but when they showed up, there were three men. Without any prior communication, they charged me for three movers, which was not what I agreed to. To make things worse, even with three men, the job ran way longer than quoted. I had clearly listed every item we had, so there was absolutely no reason for such a discrepancy in the quote.
The communication throughout the process was horrible. When I tried to address the damages, they refused to properly compensate me. All they offered was one free hour, which didn’t even come close to covering the over $600 in damages they caused. I would never recommend Brothers EZ Moving to anyone. Save yourself the stress and find a more reliable and respectful moving company.
I received excellent service from Phil and Matt!! Both gentleman were efficient and organized with how they maneuvered my furniture and boxes to my new home. They kept me in the loop on their arrival time and set my furniture exactly where I wanted it.
They were recommended by a friend and so glad we decided to use them! Communication, professionalism, and punctuality were top notch- they handled all our things with care, accommodated our requests and schedule, and were sweet to our dog. The pricing was very fair for the work they did, we would definitely use them again!
From working with Jack to set up my appointment to the day of the move, I had a great experience. Phil and chi-chi did an amazing job with ensuring that my items were handled with care. They also made sure that I was pleased with how everything was placed before they left! I would definitely recommend Brother’s EZ moving to others!
Update 2/11/2025:
I wanted to come back and update my review after a mishap with the company. Two days after my move, I had the chance to plug in my bedroom television and noticed that there were two black lines running across the bottom of the screen. The television had not been touched since the move and those line weren’t there prior to the move. Upon noticing this, I reached out to Jack via message. It was late at night so I didn’t expect to receive a response right away. I followed up on this the next morning during which time Jack did respond and let me know that he was going to meet with leadership that afternoon and would contact me later that day. I heard nothing from Jack that day and received no response after following up later that evening. At this point, I started reading reviews where other customers had no follow up when reaching out to the company about their items being broken during the move. This immediately caused me to be worried because it happens too often where the customer is screwed over and the company takes no responsibility for it, so I just foresaw the same happening to me. I decided to call the company the following day, after no response from Jack, during which time the gentleman who answered my call let me know he would talk with management to let them know I had called. I received a call from Phil (one of the movers) a couple of hours later. I sent him photos of the damage that was done to the TV. He informed me of the Florida law that only requires movers to pay 60 cents/lb of an item that was damaged, so this meant that for a TV weighing 20 lbs (with a cost of $300-400), I would only be reimbursed $12. He let me know that he was contracted through the company and there is no insurance coverage for them to replace damaged items. He informed me that he would reach back out to me and let me know how we would go about compensation. Needless to say, that call happened on 1/28/2025 and I have not heard anything else. I was hopeful because someone actually reached out to me versus just ignoring the complaint. What’s even more frustrating is that I paid the extra cost for TV boxes so that my televisions wouldn’t be damaged and still ended up with a damaged item. Since similar incidents have happened to others, I would caution against scheduling with this company prior to doing your research and ensure that whoever moves your items can at least replace them at full cost if the movers have caused the damage to the item. Everyone was nice, but being nice doesn’t replace a television that was damaged at their hands. In too many instances, the company gets away with things like this while the customer is left having to pay for something they shouldn’t. When people are entrusting you with their goods, the least you can do is take responsibility for damaging them and compensate for this. It’s only right.
