Jay and the team from J.E. Ladd helped us with our move across town and they were incredible. From the moment we began our estimate to the end of the move in day, everyone was so thoughtful and mindful of our possessions and moving them. They were incredibly careful, quick, and went above and beyond in the move. The service they provided my wife and me in the move was nothing less than amazing. We had such peace of mind throughout the entire process! If I could give 6 stars, I would.
I’m very happy that I hired J.E. Ladd for my (2BR) move! Everyone on the team was great. (Rodney, Bernard, Steve, Tony) They took any concerns that I had into account and were efficient. Moving can be stressful but they handled everything with care and even made suggestions when I couldn’t decide where furniture should go. I will definitely recommend this company and move team to friends and colleagues!
So smooth; so easy; polite; left everything spotless. Very helpful with creative placement of certain items as downsized from 2800+ to 1200 sq ft. Would use the again if need arises & have no qualms recommending. Thanks Jay & crew!
Had a fantastic experience with Jay. He and his movers were very professional and efficient. They took great care of our furniture and were able to work with a less-than-ideal loading situation at the building we were moving out of. This was by far the best moving experience I’ve had and would absolutely recommend them without any reservations to someone in the Durham area.
Rodney and his crew were terrific. On time, efficient, attentive to detail, pleasant, helpful, thorough, professional. The owner, Jay, was also fantastic to work with. Jay responds immediately and communicates clearly. He is honest and transparent about costs. We were on a tight budget and Jay gave us do-able suggestions to bring the cost down, which we did. This is the fourth time we have used J Ladd movers. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A+++
