    I should have read these reviews PRIOR to scheduling. Let me first off state, the movers (2) were good besides the broken mirror but accidents do happen. What I’m totally dissatisfied with is the office person (Danny) that I spoke with at the end of the move. He was reviewing the charges and I informed him that it was never communicated to me about paying for materials and gas mileage (100 miles) 😡 He proceeds to state (in a very condescending voice), “it was in the paper work that you signed and there is a script all schedulers use and I refuse to believe they didn’t read the script.” My reply, I am going to pay what your invoice states but I’m letting you know it was never vocally stated and as feedback your company should emphasize these “EXTRA COST”. Because the schedulers are quick to emphasize “only $159/hr”. Then, when it came time to close out, their electronic close out has a section that states “do not click agree if there was damage” and as I stated in the beginning of this review, there was damage. Danny was informed of the damage by the mover and he (Danny) was going to have someone from their claims department send me a claims form. However, he (Danny) wanted me to “click” ‘accept’ to close out the sale. I refused because everything was not settled and as the consumer, I was protecting my rights and following the company’s document instructions….”do not click agree if there was damage”. I explained to Danny, this was a legal document and is binding over “his word” the claim information was being sent. The driver was on speaker and Danny stated “he doesn’t know why any customer wouldn’t click accept to close out the sale as the claim is by the weight”. I took that to mean the claim amount would be minimal. I proceeded to inform him, I did not care if the claim was 1 penny or $1k. The document clearly states “do not accept. I am still waiting on my receipt and if I don’t receive it, I will dispute the charges with my bank.,Very unprofessional! I hope this review will help the reader make the best decision for them as moving is stressful and doesn’t need to be compounded with a bad moving experience. I know who we won’t be using for packing and moving the rest of our home items interstate.

    Updating enough though I’ll lose some of the original – after destroying almost every piece of large furniture we own and purchasing the enhanced insurance they’re now offering $250 compensation. They ruined 3/4 of my primary bedroom suit. What I’ll be getting with $250 is beyond me. Insulting.

    RUN THE OTHER WAY!!! We asked for leadership to contact us MULTIPLE TIMES and not once did they.

    We used All My Sons to move our items into storage between home sale and new home completion.

    First issue was that during the intake process they grossly underestimated the contents of our home and, in turn, the size of the crew needed for the move. This was frustrating as I’d reconfirmed the contents multiple times (each time I called).

    Day of the move they showed up with a a 3 man crew instead of 4, despite being told during the last confirmation call I had with them that they were going to change it to 4 to ensure enough hands were on deck. Clearly a lie.

    They were initially to move our items into their storage facility but I had to scramble last minute to find a local facility, day of the move, to ensure it didn’t turn into a multi day job. They stated they’d not have enough time to take to their facility.

    I was then told (by their manager on the phone) what size storage unit to rent, which I did. After the first trip they said they didn’t think it was going to be large enough. So at 7p I scrambled and found a second unit. A unit that they then declared they didn’t need when they went to complete the second/final trip. Too late, since I was already all in with renting it and it was after hours on a Saturday with no way to undo it.

    The crew also took our beds apart. I asked them, as well as the manager that night, if they would reassemble upon move in. I was assured they would and would make every effort to ensure that the same team came a second time to ensure everything went smoothly. My gut was telling me, at this point, this was going to be an issue. Especially when I found pieces of the master bedroom furniture on the carpet after they left.

    Moving day came to move from storage into the new home. I asked again when setting up if reassembly of furniture would be an issue. I was assured it would not be, as they’d be sending the original team. A 4 man crew did come this time, but they were completely different than the first. They were great though – very prompt, honest, and communicative.

    The problem came when they started to unwrap furniture items. Busted, broken, barely holding together is the current state of my belongings. Maybe they should have used the second unit? That “we’ll put your beds back together”? The move in was on Tuesday and it’s now Saturday. The beds still aren’t together.

    The second crew couldn’t reassemble as nothing is labeled to indicate HOW to go about putting it back together or to which room they belong. When I asked the crew to call the manager for me, since nobody was answering the business office line, his response was to question ME as to why HIS crew couldn’t put them back together for me. Since they aren’t in the practice of astral projection back to when the beds were disassembled I’m not real sure how they’d accomplish this feat.

    We were supposedly on schedule Friday evening for one of the original crew to come and reassemble, but they called at 630 that night to let us know that they’ll try and get here Sunday. I’m not holding my breath at this point.

    When my husband called to follow up on the status of the assembly he was told that I was never told we’d get the original crew back. I’ve now washed my hands of the whole thing and am letting my husband and Google deal with them.

    I’ve never undertaken a full household move, thus hiring a professional. I relied on their insight and guidance. Instead of being helpful it’s a huge disappointment where the responses have been condescending, as if I didn’t invest thousands into this.

    This is our third time using All My Sons Moving in Dallas, and once again, we were blown away by the outstanding service—especially from Jeremy and Jason! They were kind, professional, and incredibly efficient, even while moving us from apartment to apartment in pouring rain. Nothing slowed them down, and they handled everything with care and a great attitude. It’s not easy to make moving feel stress-free, but they do it every single time. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

    I was highly impressed with our movers! Aaron, Andres and Qualyn did a spectacular job. They covered my furniture really well to protect it and were very careful with our things. They were quick and efficient and did a great job of organizing and stacking our storage items. I would highly recommend them and I would not use anyone else.
